OVERVIEW

Magdalene is a sculptural piece created by Dessa Kirk and it is located at the intersection of Congress Parkway and Michigan Avenue, downtown Chicago. The sculpture was specially made for this site, beautifully presenting itself during all-four-seasons. Especially during the springtime, tulips gets lined up the skirt part of the figure and which adds onto the gracefulness the piece holds.

MY ROLE

The poster was made to celebrate the artist and their work, as well as to be an informative guide for the viewers about the lecture. The challenge during the process was to develop a typography which can complement the artwork both visually and conceptually. The photography that is used for the poster is also an original work.
